Gotta love our Volunteers!

Two men are working together on a rusty water well or pump, examining equipment on a sunny day in a grassy area.

Our District could not function as efficiently as it does, without the participation of a dozen or so local volunteers!   Seven of these good folks record and report water level data from 25+ monitor wells spread across Blanco County, for provision to the Board of Directors at monthly meetings, in their consideration of drought level determinations.   Pictured here are volunteers Rob Weir and Robert Remlinger, using an e-line device to record the water level in a designated monitor well.  Volunteers also have provided special projects such as the landscaping and replanting of the District office property at 601 West Main Street in Johnson City.
